Benefits of Early Child Education

As long time champions for early child development, we read with interest the new report by the Conference Board of Canada, Ready for Life.

This report does more than add to the growing body of evidence supporting early child development as a determinant of health; it explores the economic impact of early child education (ECE) and concludes that an expansion of services in Canada would facilitate more women joining the workforce, reduce income inequality and poverty, as well as improve child outcomes.

We welcome the report and its findings.
